This Sunday morning’s message at MBC is based on Luke 15: 11 - 32 and is titled “Who does Jesus welcome?” We hope you will join us at 10:30 AM or watch the video later on YouTube.

Sunday evening at 6:00 PM is Stories and Songs. Members of the congregation will be bringing their favorite songs or telling a story to inspire us.

Join us at the Manchester Cemetery, Monday, May 30 at 10:00 AM, for a Memorial Day Service.

This summer we return to the Psalms together. The Psalms are unlike much of the rest of the Bible. It's not stories to learn from, statements to believe, or lessons to apply. The Psalms invite us to sing and get caught up in what God is doing. Join us.

Summer Kids Club is fast approaching!

If you would like to help by make a cash donation to help with expenses you may give it to Randy and Becky Cooper or to Pastor Joe and Emma.

Mourning with Those Who Mourn

Two members of our church lost loved ones this week.

The funeral for Alice Boston, Cheryl Chadwell's mother, will be Thursday April 14th at 1 P.M. at Coonrod Funeral Home. Visitation will be before. Details are here: https://bit.ly/3jxxmFG

The funeral for Tracey Carlin, Jim Mueller's daughter, will be Tuesday April 19th at 10 A.M. at Williamson Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 P.M. Details are here: https://bit.ly/3uFiYBL

Part of our ministry to Cheryl, to Jim, and to their families is to mourn with those who mourn (Romans 12:15). One of the best ways to do that is for us to simply be with them. Attendance at these visitations and funerals is great ministry to them in this time. If you are able, please make plans to bless them by being with them to remind them that they are not alone.

Between now and Easter, we are going to look at the book of Mark where we find Jesus on a relentless march to the cross and empty tomb. He doesn't waver or swerve. He is certain what he is about, and nothing distracts him from that. We will find why Jesus' death and resurrection was and still is so important.

Sunday morning at 10:30 AM, Pastor Joe will bring a message based on Mark 14:10 - 31, titled “What Does Jesus Do With Obstacles?”

Sunday evening at 6:00 PM our Missionary Focus is on Israel and the Jewish People and we will continue the study of 1 Peter.
