I believe this study calls us to see God, ourselves, and the world differently and begin to live out God's goal for our lives together.

Zephaniah is a small book and easy to skip. His message though is not small: the Lord will come. In every age, some don't think God will come. Others think they are ready, but Zephaniah warns all of us to listen closely. Let's listen together and get ready. Get ready for judgment. Get ready for joy. Join us.

Spotlight on Sunday School

The Builders Class meets in the Fellowship Hall and is made up of adults who are comfortable sharing and speaking their minds.  The class is working its way through the Bible, one book at a time.  Currently they are studying Psalms.  Roger Renner leads and guides the discussions to help the class find nuggets of wisdom in God’s Word. They invite you to join them each Sunday a little before 9:30 AM for coffee and fellowship before the class begins.

SPOTLIGHT ON SUNDAY SCHOOL! CLASSES FOR ALL AGES STARTING AT 9:30 AM

Today, we want to focus on the Lydia Class for Ladies.  Julie DeFrates leads the discussion each week. We enjoy doing in-depth studies on various subjects, so if you would like to focus on one subject or person in the Bible for a while, this class is for you.  If someone in the class has a particular interest, we find a study on that subject.  Since there are only women in the class, we feel comfortable speaking what’s in our heart.  We are never in a hurry to work through a lesson, so we may take many more Sundays on a study than the author expected.  Currently we are studying the book of John.  Ladies of all ages are invited to stop in and check us out some Sunday!

Sunday Evening, July 30 at 6:00 PM

We invite you to share a story or song with the congregation that has special meaning to you.

Manchester Baptist Church is 190 years old!

The first recorded settlement in the Manchester area was in 1821 and the Village was incorporated in 1831.  On the third Sunday in June 1833, the Manchester Baptist Church. was organized.  The congregation voted to build their first church building in 1838.  The building we now call our church home is the third church building and was built in 1938/39 after a fire destroyed the second one.  Through all those years there have been men and women who were faithful to God and were determined to continue the work of spreading the Word.
